So....
The Village you see is Sapa Valley.
The two girls are standing outside one the homes of the Hmong girls.  As you can see the view isn't so bad.
The fire pit, aka the kitchen, has top of the line appliances- just kidding.  That is Cha cooking in  the kitchen.  Her whole house was exactly like this, it is crazy!!!
Cha made lunch, on the menu was eggs, tomato, lettuce, and of course there is no meal in Vietnam without rice.
We ate together in the "dining room" - It was fun to say the least.

The Hmong people.  Really nice great people!  I met them while I was walking down to their village.  We talked and they took me to their village a different way from the way most tourist go.  We hiked up and down the mountains, through mud and rivers.  I was the clumsy American who fell a few times in the mud.  They laughed at me, but offered me a hand every time we walked on a sketchy surface - I felt like an idiot, but no big deal.  They walked me through their village, made me gifts out of twigs and leaves, and cooked me lunch in their home.  The experience was insane, definitely unforgettable.

The bunks from the sleeper train, more like the non-sleeper train.  I took an 8 hour train from Hanoi to Lao Cai and then an hour bus ride from Lao Cai to get to the beautiful Sapa Vally.

Some more cuties from the orphanage...

Those lanterns that they are holding are a traditional way for kids to celebrate the full moon.

I volunteered at an orphanage in Saigon.  The kids were celebrating the full moon, its a big deal for the lunar calendar.  The kids were amazing.  Fifty of them :(!  Anyone want to adopt one?

Shout out to my peeps in CALI

Sam and I had Henna tattoos done, so pretty.

We lucked out and happened to go Singapore during the Light Festival in Little India, so it was crazy.  So many shops in the market.  They had tons of stuff and I lost control, but don't worry, they were mainly gifts for you guys ;)

Little India

Two months = Toooo Long!
Finally had a little taste of home...

We've arrived in Singapore
A FINE city
There were fines for everything.  Eating and drinking on the subway was a $500 dollar fine! The city/country is so clean! Gum is illegal to bring across the border (there is a fine of course if you do) and they don't sell it in the country.  The whole city was one big shopping mall.  I think we saw four different Louis Vuitton and I am sure we missed some.  It was one mall after another, literally shop til you drop.
